Privilege-   That’s exactly the word I said to myself as I put my sled down on the ice for my 2nd run sitting in 2nd behind Shelley Rudman of Great Brittan by 9/100ths at St. Mortiz, Switzerland. Teamwork     Most of you have never heard of a place called Winterberg, Germany, I like to refer to it as a black hole on this Earth. It is guaranteed that you will spend the majority of your time there very wet from the rain and very cold. But when you do get a day that you can see the hillside, your mood jumps and a smile appears. Defeat to Victory

Ok I apologize for not having my updates on time. I came down with a wicked cold the day of my Lake Placid race and it was a big sign that my body and my mind needed a break. So I took it. I gave myself permission to be sick for 2 days then did the Christmas tour of seeing family and friends.
